About Slipped Discs
Slipped Discs joined Knutsford Market Hall in July 2020 (just when non essential shops were allowed to open) the owner Ian Drinkwater but had been a familiar face in the market for sometime. The stall may be tiny but it is an Aladdin’s Cave for vinyl lovers. All genres are covered and he is more than happy to source your favourite album if you can’t see it in stock. Ian adores vinyl and has a real passion for music and this shines through. His prices are great too – new vinyl starts at £15, used as little as £2. Albums, 7 and 12 inch are in stock and a host of musical tastes are covered – indie, rock, house, folk, country, dance to name but a few. There are also a few badges and tour memorabilia too, so pop in and have a browse.
Born and bred Knutsford, Ian is a family man who had always dreamed of having a vinyl shop. Music is his passion and hobby (his personal preference is indie and rock) and this is the ideal way to start to realise his dream.
Things about Ian you may not know
He was an absolute star during Lockdown – helping to run Jonty’s stall when it was most needed.
